Women Beyond Cancer is a 501c3 corporation offering free retreats for women dealing with any type of cancer. It is a chance for women to get away from it all while dealing with the physical as well as emotional impact of cancer.
While some of our retreats have licensed professionals on the premises Women Beyond Cancer does not take the place of your ongoing health care needs. Women Beyond Cancer holds themselves harmless for attending a retreat. This needs to be clearly understood in making your decision in attending a retreat.

We are a group of people dedicated to helping women by providing free retreats that allow women to get away from it all. We want to take care of you and nurture you, if at least for a brief four days of your life. Our retreats are based on one premise, the fact that YOU need to re-energize; therefore we have no schedule at our retreats. What you chose to do at a retreat is up to you. Rest, read, hike, horseback ride, get to know the other guests at your retreat; it's your decision. You will leave our retreats never having felt so loved, pampered, and cared for. This may sound like an understatement but cancer can be stressful. Whether you have been recently diagnosed or a few years out of treatment we invite you to join us for a few days respite.
There is no charge to attend a retreat. Our wish is to allow you an opportunity to get away from it all without the worry of cost. All you have to do is show up. We recognize that although family and friends want nothing more than for you to heal, sometimes you just need to get away from everything and everyone and simply take time for YOU. We offer this because we care and because we are certain of the healing benefits a retreat will provide you. Each WBC retreat is designed to be unique in its location, activities, and staff. All WBC retreats will consistently provide every guest with quality services and individualized attention. We ask for a refundable $50 deposit which is our way of ensuring that once you've comitted to attend, you do so. Otherwise that spot could have been filled by someone who also wanted to get away.
